4 teens cited for rapping their order at McDonalds
Four teenage boys from American Folk, Utah were charged with disorderly conduct after trying to rap their order at a McDonald’s drive through. Anyone familiar with YouTube videos would instantly know the boys were mimicking the popular YouTube video.
The McDonald’s employee attempted to take their order. However, she couldn’t understand them and asked them to speak clearly. In response to the request, the four boys kept rapping. That’s not really a surprise. Soon the manager approached their car and told them to place and order or leave.
Some reports state that the boys did leave, but only afer swearing at the manager. Sounds like this would be the end of it, right? Sadly, no. The manager decided to take down the licence plate number and call the police. A law enforcement officer soon located the boys at a high school volleyball game and cited them for disorderly conduct.
Two questions are being asked. First, why the hell would a cop track them down at a high school game? Second, will the boys fight this? One, who is 18 year-olds, will take the charge to court. In response, the owner of the McDoanld’s, Conny Kramer, released a statement saying:
“Regarding this matter, the authorities were notified as a result of the alleged actions of these individuals in the drive-thru, not as a result of them rapping their order. We have fully cooperated with the local authorities in their investigation of this matter. As a result of their investigation, the authorities cited these individuals for disorderly conduct. Again, we caution anyone from jumping to conclusions, without having all the facts. For further comment, please contact the American Fork Police Department.”
Honestly, this could have been solved by simply spitting in their food. However, that’s just me. Do you believe this was blown out or proportion, or were the teenagers fairly charged?
