Phillip Chbeeb (aka Pacman), a contestant for three years of So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD), branched out onto YouTube. His earlier videos were mostly composed of tutorials, dance collabs, and footage of dance offs. However, he along with several Marvelous Motion dancers have been putting out one big hit after another. Yes, these hits are dance videos, but it’s the way the videos are set up that could truly this YouTuber on top.

Storyline choreographs are dance routines that tell a story, or have a storyline that revolves around a dance routine. Power Up is a story of a girl who finds a remote that controls these two dancers. Office Life is a video about three co-workers who rebel. Then there’s the latest one, “Tetris” tutting, where a man pretends he’s a living tetris block.

Each video is cleverly produced on every level. The acting is well done, the right angles are used for every shot, the ideas are original and easy to understand, and the dances are simply spectacular. Another great thing about these videos is their replay value. You’ll find yourself watching the same video at least five times so you made sure to catch every move they perform.

It currently seems that a new video released at least once every month. At the moment though, Phillip is on tour with the rest of the SYTYCD dancers. So it’s hard to say when a new storyline choreograph will be released. However, his friend Marvelous Moon (in a few of Phillip’s videos) is worth checking out in the mean time. As long as Phillip Chbeeb continuously puts out his storyline choreographs he could one day add YouTube celeb to his already impressive resume.
