l_42e5814c39254aa48c21973d68475347PauseStopRewind: My first question for you is why did upload your first video onto YouTube?

TheOriginalTyler: Well, I uploaded other random, pointless videos onto an older channel I had of me and my friends sucking helium at work. We laughed and giggled about it. But then I decided to start theoriginaltyler channel instead and try to be more organized. haha

Did you ever think that your channel would become what it is now?

Not at all. I am extremely grateful for the support I have received.

Looking at where you’re at now on YouTube, and how far you’ve come along, how much has it impacted your life?

It has actually impacted my life quite a bit. I mean, I’m not like one of the most famous people on the internet, but it has definitely changed the way people perceive me. My co-workers, family, and friends always make comments about my videos. Sometimes people stop me at work and tell me they’ve seen them. My gramma finds the most random things at stores and calls me asking if I could use them for my videos. It’s actually quite funny.

Do you have a funny moment of where someone came up to you in real life because they saw your videos?

One time at work, I was cleaning the side dining room. I had just waited on an older lady and a younger girl. I noticed them whispering and staring at me, and I assumed they were making fun of me or something. A little while later the lady came up to me and said her daughter wanted a picture with me. It made my night.

Awww haha. Where do you see YouTube fitting into your life in the future?

Truly, it’s just a hobby that I enjoy. But if by any chance it opened other doors, that would be completely amazing.

How would you describe your style, and how do you think you stand out?

My style is definitely child friendly humor. I think I stand out because I talk about a lot of issues that other people might think are “un-cool.”

What makes some of these issues important to you?

The issues I discuss in my videos are things that I have personally struggled with getting to where I am today. I’ve never been the kind of person who has fit in. I just really want people to know that they are not alone when they might feel as though they are.

How do you come up with your video ideas and what’s the process like creating them?

That varies based on the kind of video. I do vlogs, parodies, skits, etc. Each different type of video has a different process. haha

Well, how about in regards to parodies and skits?

Basically, when I hear a song, I get a general idea for a parody. Then I sit down and write the lyrics. Then I have one of my good online friends create a generic instrumental. Then I record the audio and Curtis (amazing person) edits the vocals. Then I make the video. And walla! haha

Haha, how long does that typicaly takes?

Usually it takes anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks to completely finish a parody if all goes as planned. I depend on a few other people, and they have lives as well, so sometimes it takes them time to do their parts.

Looking back at your first few videos, how much would you say you have improved and where would you like to improve on next?

I have come a long way since my first few videos. My editing has improved tremendously. I use a green screen now. As far as the future goes, I want to try to keep having more and more original ideas.

Which YouTubers have inspired you the most?

I have done videos since I was young, so a lot of what I do is just what I have naturally enjoyed doing since before YouTube even existed. I am definitely a huge VenetianPrincess fan. Her parodies are amazing.

I have a Twitter Question for you from HiImRawn of The Station. Brace yourself, this one is interesting.

Oh heaven help me lol

He wants to know when you smile is it because you are happy to be alive or sinister because you just ate a pony?

I have never had pony meat before, so I would have to say it’s because I’m happy. lol

haha. Is there anything you would like to say to your fans?

Thank you so much for the support. I truly am so thankful that people have accepted me for who I am and enjoy what I do. I love you all! :)

Tyler is one of the very few youtubers these days who never holds back from speaking his mind and being himself which is really awesome and sadly you don’t find much anymore. I think it’s awesome that even though Tyler might receive a lot of hate, he doesn’t let it get to him and keeps going! Keep it up both of you, Tyler and Zack. Sickkk interview Zack, you’re doing great with this website dude!
