Pause Stop Rewind: Where did you get the idea to upload videos on YouTube?
DFizzy: One night, I was bored so I was going through YouTube and watching several videos by Sxephil, Zipster08, and ArshaAsteraki.I would have to say they inspired me the most to start making YouTube videos.
How serious did you take your video quality when you first started compared to how you do now?
When I first started YouTube I didn’t really focus on the quality of the video. I’d just come up with a random video idea without even scripting it, record via the built in iSight on my Macbook and edit directly on iMovie. Now, I am using a video camera to record and I use several video editing software. I feel that the video quality itself has gotten much better although the content is something I’m working on.
Where did the name “Dfizzy” come from? And whatever happen to using “DeeFizzy”?
The name “Dfizzy” was actually a nickname from a friend. When going to sign up “Dfizzy” on youtube I saw it was taken so I did the very uncreative thing to do and added 2 E’s after the D instead.
Looking back now how much would you say you improved and changed?
Since I started YouTube right before the school year started I didn’t have all the time to focus on it. So, not many videos were uploaded meaning I didn’t really change or improve much. If anything, I’d say I am improving with my upcoming videos.
Have you ever done UMAD to your mom?
Yes I have done it to her before and it ended with her yelling at me. She was definitely mad.
What kind of conditioner do you use for your hair?
The best kind.
Where do your video ideas come from?
Often my video ideas are based off of conversations I’ve had with people or things that people have said. For example, with the Unibrow video, I was actually inspired to make it by the simple comment “shave off the uni brow.”
Have you ever been recognized in the real world?
Yes, I’ve been recognized a few times and it’s definitely the best feeling in the world to have someone know who you are from doing something you love. I’ve been seen at places like the mall and several times at Warped Tour.

What would you say is the biggest mistake new YouTuber’s make?
Trying to be something they’re not.
Now what is the biggest mistake that you have made?
The biggest mistake I’ve made is coming up with video ideas and neglecting to make them. I think if I had actually gone through with several video ideas I’ve had, they would have been big hits.
Looking back, did you ever think you would get this far and do so much?
Absolutely not. I never thought I would get this much support or even know the people I know today.

I love Damon!! He is one of the best things about youtube. His webshows and videos are always the best day of my day. I dont know what i would do if he wasnt around. When i heard he went to warped tour i was so upset i wasnt at the same one. i went to the one in chicago and hearing that ppl met if at a different one actually kindof made me sad because i didnt meet anyone at the one in Illinois. LOL Dfizzy FTW!!!!!

DFizzy is the first youtuber i started waching regularly and when i finally got around to macking an account he was my first subscription, his videos always make me smile and i lmao everytime i see the one from after the dentist, iv seen it so many times and i still laugh HARD everytime, funny stuff, damon is also a super nice kid and a really good role model, he inspired me to try to be a vegetarian and so far i havent eaten meat in 4 months, i think everyone of his videos are amazing and that hes just gonna keep getting bigger!!!!!!

Damon is amazing,awesome,hilarious,creative,and very very humble thats why he is one of my favorite youtubers. The first time i saw his videos i sorta got connected with him.. he was simple and he was just being himself and coming up with his own ideas. not copying from anybody alse. He doesn’t care if he has 1000 haters because he knows he will always have 100000000 more that loves him and cares for him and that will always be there to support him through out hes career.I love that he is friends with my favorite blogtver (Alex aka Adizz09).well As i said before dfizzy is amazing and i will never never stop watching his videos, visiting his web site watching him live or even @replying at his most awkward and random comments.He is one in a million and there will never be another youtuber as awesome as he is. It’s soo funny how I found him on YouTube too. My friend was being retarded and searched unibrows on YouTube, and up came his spoof for Milkshake. Haha, he makes my day with his webshows. He’s so nice and He deserves more fans and popularity because he’s one of the few YouTubers out there that are actually real. Love him sooo much!

i love watching his videos, they’re hilarious. they’re seriously some of the best on youtube. i showed my friends one video, and they loved it. so now they watch them with me (: a great thing about him is that he’s actually real, he doesn’t pretend to be someone he’s not. and i love that.
